Establishing and committing to healthy eating and exercise is the foundation of self-respect and self-confidence. How you treat yourself and your body dramatically influences how you feel about yourself and how others see and treat you.
The state of your mind is more important to reaching your health and fitness goals than diet and exercise. Your conscious and subconscious mind working together will enable you to release excess weight, get fit and sustain it.
If you have been unable to sustain healthy habits in the past, feel discouraged and maybe even consider abandoning your goals, I encourage you to take another approach. There is a solution!
I know firsthand. I remember what it’s like to feel discouraged and disgusted with myself due to countless vain attempts to sustain a lifestyle that supports being slim and healthy. I’m so grateful that this struggle is no longer a part of my life. I now enjoy a healthy weight, food freedom, and much-improved self-confidence and esteem. Along the way, I have learned so much! As a result, I’m committed to helping you go beyond dieting and be slim, healthy, happy, and free.
You CAN be successful in achieving your health and fitness goals. The fact that you have not done so thus far is because you have been led astray, perhaps for many years, from your instincts and have accumulated many misguided beliefs about yourself and your body.
Beliefs that “there is something wrong with me or my body” are reinforced by countless diets being advertised as the way to eternal slimness. These beliefs are often compounded by the medical community, social media, the food and fitness “authorities,” and more.
Beliefs that; if I were perfect enough, had enough willpower, or was more capable, reinforce our need to beat ourselves up and constantly look outside ourselves to find answers to our weight and body struggles.
Some of these beliefs are conscious, and some are unconscious. Uncovering these misguided beliefs and cultivating beliefs that agree with your body’s instincts is the necessary foundation for achieving your health and fitness goals, releasing excess weight, and enjoying the freedom to live a vibrant life.
Of course, there is plenty of good, sound, scientific information that will aid you in developing a healthy pattern of eating that will support your optimum health and fitness. However, it’s never a one size fits all solution. Our bodies are living, moving organisms. Each of us has different needs, and these needs may change at different stages of our lives.
To approach weight loss with a one size fits all and, if it isn’t working, there is something wrong with my mentality, will not work for you and your body in the long run. You may have some success. However, it is very unlikely to be sustainable.
The evidence shows us that the few who do release excess weight and keep it off have successfully cultivated a mindset, plan of eating, and lifestyle that works best for them and their body.

I encourage you to take some time to reflect on your beliefs specific to your health, weight, and fitness. You might want to journal and come up with beliefs that support you in making the changes that you want to make.
Remember, your has the capacity to be slim, healthy, and free!
